Warwickshire Villages Trail

Continuing with our theme of walks in adjoining counties we are walking the 'Warwickshire Villages Trail' The booklet describes the walk as a 143 mile walk visiting 71 villages, 48 churches and 37 village pubs. The Rutland Round

The Rutland Round is a circular walk of about 66 miles round the County of Rutland. We will walk this in 6 comfortable sections, well within the capabilities of any of our regular walkers. This is an opportunity to walk, and maybe complete, a long distance path within easy travelling to home. We will take a packed lunch with us and hopefully have the opportunity of refreshment after the walk. The walk will not be pre-walked by the leader and this will give an opportunity to anybody who wishes to brush up on their map-reading skills, please let the leader know before each section if you would like to do this. Baton Walk through Northamptonshire

As part of the 75th Celebrations a 75 mile route has been planned across the county from Souldern, in Oxfordshire to Tinwell in Rutland.

The route divides into six sections and different Groups will lead the walks.

Tuesday 21^st September – Souldern church to Weedon Lois church – 13 miles. Daventry Group

Wednesday 22nd September – Weedon Lois church to Harpole church – 12 miles. Northampton Group

Thursday 23^rd September – Harpole church to Old church – 14 miles. Wellingborough Group

Friday 24^th September – Old church to Geddington church – 13 miles. Northampton Group

Saturday 25^th September – Geddington church to Bulwick church – 11.5 miles. Kettering Group

Sunday 26^th September – Bulwick church – Tinwell church - 11.5 miles. 20s / 30s Group
